Finally woke up after an 8 hour love affair with my bed. Needed that rest, considering how much of an emotional and physical roller coaster it was this entire week. Even I had lecturers who did not teach me, asking me to get some sleep. It does not help that I seem to have big eye bags on both sides. Luckily had my glasses to cover them up today. This is why you should still keep your old glasses, no matter how cracked the lens are.
I could have gone longer on the snooze front. But a call from my fellow school girlfriend of sorts, Fina, shook me up (The vibration is freakingly strong by the way). Apparently she had a BBQ and wanted me to finish the food. At that point, I felt like a superhero. The guy the people of the world call on, to finish their meals (Heather would be proud). But unfortunately, like Superman, my kryptonite was my bed. So I had to pass on it.
Decided to get a Mega Mac instead, coupled with a McFlurry. But realised that my mouth was a little too small for the burger, that I decided to separate the meat from the bread. But let’s say that ended up horribly. But that was partially because I was doing that while chatting simultaneously with five people on MSN, about protein shakes and being pwned by a girl.
On other fronts, FBI1 (The Team With The Girl) won the debates. Congrats to them. They honestly deserved it. But word on the grapevine, was that it was good that they won as it would be ironic, if a team with school debaters lost in a debates with debate noobs in it. But personally, kudos to them. They deserved it as they were, personally, one of 3 teams that perked my interest. Another team that I considered to be pretty awesome, was CDS2 with Jeremy & Seelan. Down-to-earth guys with a knack of saying the right jokes at the right time. One bad thing that I would say that came out of this whole thing, is that I better stop volunteering for stuff that I have no inkling of what the commitment would actually consist of. Well that and that I got to learn to stop throwing my slippers at the opposing team during debates. And I would like to proclaim that I love my MWC team. We are perhaps the only team who would actually cheer when we lose and get pissed off when we win.
French was alright again. Scored an A. Whoopee doo-ay! Well am not happy because of the grade. Am so happy that I will not be teased by Julien, Vanessa, Francine & Mikael for screwing up a listening test and writing exam. But I got a hunch that I will be ribbed on for thinking chewing gum was created by the French.
Now it is back to me spending the night away in my Survivor buff (Maybe it would be the red China one tonight) and my trusted boxers, wondering whether the Onion Alliance gets pagonged tonight. Yeah, it is kind of creepy for me to know more Survivor vocabulary than my knowledge on the Tamil vocabulary.
Shrugs.
